Lake County Man Wins $1 Million in Florida Lottery Scratch-Off Game

A Lake County man won $1 million playing a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

Andrew Smith, 55, of Lady Lake, claimed a $1 million prize from the $1 Million A Year For Life Spectacular scratch-off game.

He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.

Smith purchased his winning ticket from Winn-Dixie, 820 Old Camp Road, in The Villages.

The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters. The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
