While the player did not secure the $700 million jackpot, the next drawing on December 30 is estimated at $760 million.

One lucky lottery player scored a $2 million payout after purchasing a ticket at a Katy convenience store, according to the Texas Lottery website.

The winner purchased the ticket on Wednesday at the Timewise Food Store located at 23903 Katy Freeway near the intersection of Interstate 10 and the Grand Parkway.

The winning numbers were 4, 11, 38, 51, 68 and 5. Players win the Grand Prize by matching five white numbers from a field of 69 numbers and one Powerball.

The Katy winner hit all five white numbers but did not hit the Powerball number, failing to secure the $700 million jackpot.

The current estimated jackpot for the Dec. 30 drawing is now valued at $760 million.
