Hillsborough County woman bought a lottery scratch-off ticket and won $1 million lottery, the woman will soon be $1 million times richer than before.
The ticket was bought at a Citgo on Bell Shoals Road in Valrico.
Karelia Martinez, who is 47 years old, from Riverview purchased a scratch-off for the Mystery Multiplier Scratch-Off game, which just so happened to be the winning ticket.
She recently claimed her lottery prize.
Martinez claimed her prize at the Florida Lottery's headquarters in Tallahassee and chose to receive her winnings as a lump-sum payment and took home $798,985 after all federal and state taxes.
