Helensvale man wins $10,000 in Instant Scratch-Its lottery

A helensvale man’s decision to get rid of the spare change in his car has paid dividends after scratching away at his Instant Scratch-Its ticket to reveal he’d won $10,000.
"I thought, ‘why not,’ and grabbed a bunch of coins that were sitting in my car and before I knew it, I was holding a $10,000 ticket,” he proclaimed.
The top prize winning $1 Lucky Clover Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at newsXpress Oxenford, Shop 6, Oxenford Village, 2 Cottonwood Place, Oxenford.
The ticket distributor will get $2000 for selling winning ticket.
