Georgia Lottery Players Win $1.25 Million in Powerball Prizes
Georgia Lottery players in Brunswick and Douglasville hit big in the September 23 Powerball drawing, taking home a combined $1.25 million in prizes.
The winning Powerball numbers were 05-15-26-29-30, with 14 as the red Powerball.
🎉 Two Big Powerball Wins
- $1 million: A ticket sold at Vansh Corner in Brunswick matched all five white-ball numbers.
- $250,000: A Douglasville ticket matched four white balls plus the Powerball and used the Power Play option.
The $1 million ticket was purchased at Vansh Corner, 310 Old Jesup Road, while the $250,000 winner bought their ticket at the QuikTrip on Chapel Hill Road.
More Georgia Lottery Winners
The September 23 Fantasy 5 drawing also produced two jackpot winners. Players in Warner Robins and Atlanta each won $165,301 with tickets purchased online. The winning numbers were 03-10-15-23-32.
A $10,000 Georgia FIVE prize was also claimed from the evening drawing. The winning ticket was sold at Rex Food Mart in Rex.
Meanwhile, three players recently won $7,500 each in Millionaire for Life drawings. One September 23 winner purchased a ticket in Chickamauga, while two September 24 winning tickets came from Cumming and Columbus.
Georgia Lottery proceeds help fund education programs throughout the state.
The next Powerball drawing was scheduled for Saturday, September 26, with an estimated $360 million jackpot.
