Gaston County man won $2 million in Mega 7?s scratch-off ticket, the winner will soon be $2 million times richer than before.
Joshua King and his son went to Times Turnaround on South Hope Road to grab some snacks, where they decided to grab the lottery ticket.
He said that when they reached home, while watching the horror movie King decided to scratch off the lottery ticket and he was surprised that he had won $2 million worth lottery.
“This is life-changing. I called my parents and I was kind of hyperventilating when I was talking to them, " King said.
He chose to take the lump sum of $1.2 million, which after required state and federal tax withholdings, left him with $852,126.
