Fresno resident won life changing $14.2 million Mega million windfall

A winning Mega millions lottery ticket worth $4.2 million was won by a Fresno player.

The winning Meg Millions ticket was from Friday 229 July 2022 drawing which was purchased at Vons on North Cedar Ave in Fresno.

The winning lottery ticket matched all the five winning numbers narrowly missing Mega Ball to win a $4.2 million prize.

The winning numbers were 13, 36, 45, 57, and 67. The gold Mega Ball was 14.

Only one player won the Friday night jackpot worth $1.337 billion while 26 others matched all five balls to win the lottery’s second-tier prize. Six included the Megaplier, an optional addition that was available in most states with an extra $1 purchase and is worth $2 million each for the winners.

The person who purchased the winning Fresno ticket now has 180 days to claim their winnings after which the ticket get expired.
