Four Coworkers Share $100K Powerball Prize, Plan to Travel and Improve Homes

In Fountain Inn, South Carolina, four coworkers are splitting a $100,000 Powerball prize.

The group has been playing together for a year, buying tickets for one drawing per week. While they narrowly missed out on winning the $754 million jackpot in February, the group is still excited about their recent win.

They plan to use the money to travel and make home improvements, while also continuing to play the lottery together.

Powerball is a popular American lottery game that is played in 45 states, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. The game is played by choosing five white balls out of a pool of 69 and one red ball, known as the Powerball, out of a pool of 26. To win the jackpot, players must match all six numbers drawn.
