Whyalla guy wins $1.8 million recently in a lottery game

A Whyalla man has kissed the Monday blues goodbye after receiving a phone call this morning from lottery officials revealing his $1.8 million windfall in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.

The South Australian held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4347, drawn Saturday 18 March 2023 and took home $1,836,034.

So far in 2023, there have been six division one winning entries in South Australia, collectively worth more than $30.33 million in prize money.

“Are you calling me with some news? Have I won something?” the winning man questioned when an official from The Lott reached out this morning.

“Wow! Thank you very much! “I’ll tell you what, I can’t explain how I’m feeling.

“I’m in total shock right now. I’ve been playing X Lotto for a very long time. “I usually buy a QuickPick when I’m in a rush. I didn’t even choose these numbers!”
