A fortunate individual in Florida is waking up as a big winner after securing a substantial prize from Saturday night's Powerball drawing.
The Florida Lottery reports that a $1 million winning ticket was purchased at the Publix located on 2414 West 60th Street in Hialeah.
This singular win stood as the sole significant prize for that particular drawing, with the winning numbers being 16, 31, 34, 47, 65, and 10.
As per lottery policy, the ticketholder has a 180-day window to claim the prize from the draw games. However, should they opt for the single-payment cash option, the prize must be claimed within the initial 60 days.
