Florida man won $2 million lottery due to his dog, indirectly his dog made him a millionaire, and he is now $2 million times richer than before. 

Leonard Linton who is 42 years old from Pinetta, Fla., is celebrating with his dog, Ivy, thanks to a $10 scratch ticket he picked up because of his expecting dachschund.

Linton got a call thatbhis dog was not feeling well so get to home as soon as possible, that day Linton took a different route and while stopping by a retail store made a purchase of $10 lottery ticket, which turned out to be $2 million lottery. 

Linton claimed a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,645,000 at the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee, according to a press release.
