Two lucky Powerball players in separate states are celebrating $2 million wins from the latest drawing

There were no jackpot winner in the Saturday, July 5 Powerball drawing, but there were a pair of $2 million winners.

The winning $2 million Powerball tickets came from two different states, Louisiana and Wisconsin, although it remains unknown where exactly those tickets were sold.

The lucky winners matched five numbers (no Powerball) and doubled their prize thanks to the Power Play (2X).

The winning numbers for the drawing were 1, 28, 34, 50, 58 and Powerball 8. The estimated jackpot for the Saturday night drawing was $192 million, with a cash value of $87.7 million.

That means we should see a jackpot over $200 million for the next drawing on Monday, July 7. The odds of matching five numbers in the Powerball is 1 in 11,688,053.52, while the odds of winning the grand prize is 1 in 292,201,338.

There have been a grand total of four Powerball jackpot winners in 2025, with the most recent coming on May 31 in California, when someone netted the $204.5 million prize.

There have also been jackpot winners in Oregon (Jan. 18, $328.5 million) and Kentucky (April 26, $167.3 million), and the biggest Powerball jackpot winner this year was in California (March 29, $526.5 million).

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET.
