Lucky scratch off lottery players from Massachusetts scoops a big jackpot

A Massachusetts couple had the surprise of their lives when they scratched off a $4 million lottery ticket.

John and Lisa Dabbs of Westfield, MA, had recently purchased a $30 Millionaire Maker scratch off ticket from the Stop & Shop in Westfield.

They scratched off the ticket and were astonished to find that they had won the grand prize of $4 million.

The Dabbs said that they plan to pay off their mortgage, save for their daughter’s college education, and use the rest for retirement.

They also hope to take a family vacation somewhere warm. The Lottery Commission said that the couple are the sixth $4 million prizewinners this year.

The odds of winning the grand prize are 1 in 2.8 million. John and Lisa said that they are still in shock over their win and cannot believe that this happened to them.

They said that they will never forget this moment and are grateful for their luck.
