Citgo station sold out a $2 million Massachusetts lottery ticket
A Citgo station in Massachusetts sold the final $2 million lottery prize available in one of the lottery’s scratch ticket games, and it was claimed on Thursday, July 27.
The $2 million prize was from the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” scratch ticket game. It was the fifth and final grand prize available to be claimed in the game since its release on June 27, 2022.
The winning lottery ticket was purchased from a Citgo station in Agawam, called Citgo Food Mart. There was also a $1 million prize claimed in Massachusetts on Thursday from the scratch ticket game called “300X.”
That winning ticket was sold in Medford from Kristina’s Market, and was the first $1 million prize to be claimed in the game since its release on June 13, 2023.
Additionally, there were two $100,000 lottery prizes claimed on Thursday; one was from the “MILLIONS” scratch ticket game, and the other was from the “WIN IT ALL” scratch ticket game.
