Chicago Man Wins Illinois Lottery Jackpot Again After 15 Years

A man from the Chicago area recently claimed a $1.3 million Lucky Day Lotto jackpot after making a completely ordinary stop at a local gas station. While grabbing a drink, he decided to buy a Quick Pick ticket for the June 11 drawing.

"I just stopped by the store for a drink and thought, 'Why not?'" the winner shared.

A Surprise He Could Hardly Believe

Instead of choosing his own numbers, he let the lottery machine generate them with a Quick Pick. That ticket ended up matching all five winning numbers.

When he realized he had won, the moment felt unreal.

"I didn't believe it at first. I kept asking myself, 'Am I dreaming?'" he said. "After scanning the ticket and seeing the numbers match, it finally sank in."
