A woman from Charlotte, North Carolina, fulfilled her dream of winning the lottery after purchasing a $5 scratch-off ticket from a local Harris Teeter store.

The lucky winner, Sears, collected her prize of $150,000 at the lottery headquarters and is planning to use the money to take a dream vacation to Paris with her fiancée.

The 46-year-old has always wanted to visit Paris since she was a child, and the win will allow her to fulfill her lifelong dream.

After tax withholdings, Sears took home $106,876. Sears said she used to read about other lottery winners and always believed that she could win big one day, and now her wish has come true.
