Celebrations took place at the store on Sarsfield Street after selling €1 million lottery prize
Ryan’s Supervalu in Kilmallock sold the winning ticket for Friday’s (June 30) Daily Millions draw that saw one lucky customer scoop the top prize of €1million.
Celebrations took place at the store on Sarsfield Street in the town when the news was announced.
Store Manager Gareth Davies was delighted to hear that one of his customers had a life-changing start to their weekend. He said: “What a way to spend a Friday night – becoming a millionaire. All of the staff here will be so excited to hear the news as soon as word gets out.”
“We’re a busy shop in town with about 60 of us working here so it’s a great boost for us all.
We have lots of regular locals who come into us too so I’m sure they’ll be delighted to hear we sold a winner as it’s positive news for the community.”
The National Lottery has confirmed that the latest National Lottery millionaire has made contact and arrangements are now being made for them to claim their prize.
