Carbonear couple won $1 million Maxmillions prize in Lotto Max drawing

Couple saw someone in their town won the lottery and later found out it was them

A lucky couple from Carbonear namely Michael Davis and Kristie Bernier won Maxmillions jackpot worth $1 million playing Lotto Max on October 18.

David saw at the stores advertisement that someone in the town won $1 million, but he just laughed it off. But later on he got to know that they were the winners.

The couple has already planned a trip to Las Vegas with friends and an Alaskan cruise, and they hope to visit Ireland and Jamaica before long as well.

They also intend on helping their three sons and making some donations to causes close to their hearts.

The Atlantic Lottery is a Canadian organization that provides government-regulated and responsible lottery products in Atlantic Canada. 

Lotto Max drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday.
