He just turned 18 and won $1 million on a lottery ticket that his grandmother gave him as a gift

In California, two lucky individuals have won a million dollars each on scratch-off lottery tickets.

Kaleb Heng, an 18-year-old from Turlock, California, won a million dollars on a scratch-off ticket gifted by his grandmother for his birthday.

Heng plans to use the winnings for college and to improve his furniture. Another man named John Vang also won a million dollars on a scratch-off ticket gifted by his brother-in-law from the Sunnyside Liquor & IPA Hub in Fresno.

Vang, who doesn't usually play Scratchers, said he was surprised by his win.
