California Player Nabs $451,000 Powerball Prize as Jackpot Swells to $760 Million

The Powerball jackpot surged to an impressive $760 million following Wednesday night's drawing, which saw no tickets with all the winning numbers.

However, in Northern California, a fortunate player snagged the second-largest prize.

As per California lottery officials, a ticket purchased at a 7-Eleven in El Dorado Hills, a town situated east of Sacramento, matched five numbers during Wednesday's draw, falling short only of the Powerball, resulting in a hefty $451,000 win.

Moreover, five other individuals in California managed to match four numbers along with the Powerball, securing a third-tier prize exceeding $23,000 each.
