Calgary Resident Wins $50 Million in Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball Draw
If you are one of the Calgarians who play Lotto 6/49, there’s a chance you woke up today $50 million richer.
According to a Lottery 6/49 press release, the winning ticket of the $50 million Gold Ball draw on Saturday was sold in Calgary.
“The holidays are here and $50 million can go a long way in making those holiday wishes come true!” the press release said.
“We want to hear from the winner (or winners) and get this epic prize into their hands. So, check your tickets, Calgary!”
The winning number was 25957733-01.
The winner or winners have one year to claim their prize and can start their clime by contacting Player Care at 1-800-665-3313.
If claimed, it will go down as one of the biggest lottery wins in Albert history, following Calgary landscape operator Mitchel Dyck’s $70 million win in 2022, and Aaron Parsons’ $55 million win in May.
In late October of 2022, he bought a Lotto Max ticket on a whim, and three weeks later he cashed in his ticket.
