Brampton resident won $2.5 million worth jackpot in Lotto 6/49 jackpot, the winner will soon be $2.5 million times richer than before. 

The winning lottery ticket was purchased at Ins Market in Brampton, Ont.

Nancy Gardner and one other winner both won a combined lottery of $5 million and both of them got $2.5 million. 

When she scratched the lottery ticket, it was unbelievable for her to see the $2.5 million jackpot. 

“I checked the winning numbers on OLG.ca and thought OLG was playing a prank on me I was shaking. I couldn’t believe it!” Gardner said in the release. 

She plans to help her family with her winning, and “hopes to purchase a home.”
