Brampton man wins Lotto Max jackpot worth $100k

A lucky man from Brampton named Chirag Bharucha won Lotto Max jackpot worth $100,000 after playing with the Encore lottery option.
The winning ticket was bought at Prestige Dry Cleaners on Highway 7 in Woodbridge. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $1,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.
“My wife was so surprised. She kept saying it isn't true," he told OLG. "My mother was surprised and happy as well."
With the winning amount, Bharucha plans to clear his bills and continue playing lottery games.
Lotto Max is a Canadian lottery game coordinated by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, as one of the country's three national lottery games.
Lotto Max drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday.
