Bettendorf man hits the lottery worth $50,000 in lottery scratch off game, the winner of the lottery ticket is now $50k times richer than before.
The winner named Todd Rands of Bettendorf won the sixth top prize in the Iowa Lottery’s “Power Shot” scratch game.
He purchased his winning ticket at QC Mart, 2545 18th St. in Bettendorf, and claimed his prize Monday at the lottery’s Cedar Rapids regional office.
The lottery ticket only cost $5 and in return the owner won $50,000.
Power Shot is a $5 scratch game that features eight top prizes of $50,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.45.
