Australian couple wins lottery jackpot twice in a week

An Australian couple from Dapto, just south of Wollongong, has won the Monday Lotto jackpot twice in one week, taking home over $2 million.

The man had forgotten to submit his wife's preferred ticket numbers during the previous draw, leading to an argument.

In an attempt to make up for his mistake, he bought another ticket with the same numbers and submitted it for the next draw.

To their surprise, both tickets won the division one prizes.

According to the man, his wife had been using the same numbers for the past thirty years.

When they discovered that one of the tickets had won $1 million, he decided to tell her about the second identical ticket.

The couple is ecstatic about their win and plans to use the prize money to help their family's future.
