Asheboro resident won $100,000 in North Carolina Education Lottery, the winner will soon be $100,000 times richer than before. 

Charles Cagle of Asheboro, got a lottery ticket as a gift from his wife, which she purchased from Ready Mart on South Fayetteville Street in Asheboro.

It was a $20 Mega 7's ticket which got him a $100,000 worth jackpot in return. 

"I called her and told her she needed to look at something," Cagle said.

When asked what he plans to do with the jackpot, he replied that " I will be using that prize to paying off some bills. "
