Arkansas Woman Wins $1 Million in Lottery from Alexander Store

An Arkansas woman from Alexander has won $1 million in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery from a $20 scratch-off ticket purchased at Vimy Food Mart.
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed her prize at the ASL Claim Center in Little Rock.
This marks the 94th time since 2009 that a lottery prize of $1 million or more has been won in Arkansas.
Vimy Food Mart will also receive a commission of $10,000 for selling the winning ticket, as retailers receive a 1% commission from the sale of winning lottery products.
The lucky winner said she regularly plays the lottery and plans to use her winnings to pay bills and buy a house.
