An Essex County lottery player wins $1 million recently in powerball

A lottery player in Essex County won the $1,000,000 second-tier prize in the Wednesday, Sept. 18, Powerball drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at Variedades Ecualatinas in Newark, 262 Ferry St. The winning numbers were: 01, 11, 22, 47 and 68. The Red Power Ball number was 07.
The Power Play was 4X. 21,504 NJ players took home an estimated $150,444 in prizes ranging from $4 to $400.
The Powerball jackpot rolls to $195,000,000 for the Saturday, Sept. 21, drawing. The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets.
The Double Play drawing results for the Wednesday, Sept. 18, drawing were: 16, 23, 50, 53 and 66. The Double Play Ball number was 14.
