A fortunate Elyria woman is taking home a pretty nice jackpot which is worth of winning $10,000 on a 50th Anniversary scratch-off ticket.

According to Ohio Lottery, after all the state and federal taxes, the winner will receive a big amount of $7,200.

As its name implies, the scratch-off game celebrates Ohio Lottery’s 50th Anniversary, lottery officials say.

The Ohio Lottery Commission was formed in 1973 and the first Ohio Lottery game, Buckeye 300, went on sale in August 1974, according to the website.

The $50 game has a jackpot of $600,000 a year for 25 years. Lottery officials say three top prizes are still available.

Now they announced that the winner has only a year to claim the winning prize money by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters.
