An Eastern Kentucky man wins $3 million recently in scratch off lottery game
An eastern Kentucky man won big on a Kentucky Lottery scratch-off ticket, big as in $3,000,000.
The winner, a man from Owsley County who wishes to remain anonymous, stopped at the Booneville Foodmart to buy his daily Pick 3 tickets and bought a $30 Mega Multiplier scratch-off as well.
I dont normally buy $30 tickets, but something told me to buy that ticket, he said. While sitting in his truck, he scratched the ticket off, and his winning number showed up.
He then went to scratch off the prize amount and said he was confused to see just a small zero.
He kept scratching and saw another zero and then another one until he revealed six zeros following a three. I went in shock.
I looked at it and thought, I was reading this wrong, he said. I called my son, and I was in tears.
