An Atlanta mans trip ended with winning a $300,000 lottery ticket, the winner of the lottery ticket will soon be $300k times richer than before.
The lottery says he stopped for a bottle of water and bought a $10 lottery ticket at the Lil Cricket convenience store.
He scratched the ticket off in the store’s parking lot and couldn’t believe he won $300,000.
“I freaked out...I ran back in the store and gave the clerk a hug,” he said.
“I’m extremely happy. I’ll definitely visit South Carolina more.”
The South Carolina lottery says the man already made his first purchase: a new car.
