Maryland Lottery Fever: $1M Scratch-Off Leads Week of Big Wins

Maryland lottery players had a seriously lucky week, with multiple big wins across the state.

In Charles County, one player hit an impressive streak by cashing in three Pick 5 tickets worth $50,000 each—a rare run that instantly turned heads.

The biggest prize, however, went to Hyattsville. A fortunate player grabbed a $1 million jackpot from a $1,000,000 Crossword scratch-off ticket purchased at Chillum Wine & Spirits on Eastern Avenue sometime between June 1 and June 7. That win topped the week’s prize list.

Meanwhile, luck also showed up in Leonardtown, where a player scored $100,000 from a Red 5’s Doubler scratch-off sold at a Food Lion on Merchant Lane.

Week’s standout wins:

  • ? $1,000,000 Crossword scratch-off in Hyattsville
  • ? Three Pick 5 tickets worth $50K each in Charles County
  • ? $100,000 Red 5’s Doubler win in Leonardtown

A strong reminder that across Maryland, life-changing wins can show up in the most ordinary places.
