Vulcan, Alta., woman cashes in on $1M lottery prize

A lucky woman from Alberta named Madonna La Belle won a whopping sum of $1 million playing WCLC's Classic Gold instant win game.

The winning ticket was sold at the McKay Lodge at the Canadian Natural Resources camp in Fort McKay. The store will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.

Her husband bought the tickets for her but she didn't scratch them off until a few week after he gave them to her.

La Belle says she'd forgotten about the tickets, and was surprised when she finally checked them.

She is looking forward to a comfortable retirement and also pay off her debt with the winning amount.
