A women from Bateau Bay, Australia won $1.3 million, when she stopped by a shop to buy a gift for her friend she also bought a lottery ticket  which was worth $1.3 million. 

The woman told lottery officials at The Lott that she checked her ticket after seeing on Facebook that someone local had purchased a winning ticket.

"My husband will retire and I'd love to treat myself a bit. It's come at the perfect time. This win means we can completely rewrite our retirement plans, which is amazing," she continued about what she will do with the winnings.

The winning numbers were 20, 27, 35, 39, 25 and 15, with 9 and 21 as the supplementary numbers.
