A scratch off lottery player from Wadsworth scoops a big jackpot recently

Last month, we told you about a Brooklyn woman who won the top prize of $1 million a year for 20 years in the Ohio Lottery's "Billion" scratch-off game.

This week, the "Billion" game yielded another big prize for a Northeast Ohio resident. The Ohio Lottery announced that a woman named Lisa from Wadsworth won the $1,000,000 second-tier prize, an annuity prize of $50,000 a year for 20 years.

Lisa decided to go with the cash option of $500,000. After mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28%, she will receive $360,000.

So what is Lisa going to do with the money? She says her first order of business is to buy a new car for her dad since his car is in the shop often.

Lisa says some of the winnings will also go to help care for her mom. "You don't ever expect to win, you dream of it, but never expect it to happen!
