A winning lottery ticket is sold out recently in Woodbridge gas station

A lucky woodbridge guy bought a winning lottery ticket from a local gas station recently

A gas station in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge sold a lottery ticket this week that won the $845,256 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.

The winning ticket was drawn Thursday, August 25. The NJ State Lottery announced the news Friday morning.

The ticket was sold at Iconic Energy/ConocoPhillips 66 gas station at 753 Port Reading Avenue in Port Reading. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn.

The winning numbers were: 17, 21, 24, 35 and 40 and the XTRA number was: 02.

That gas station will receive a $2,000 bonus check for selling the winning ticket. A winner has not yet been publicly identified.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
