A winning $3 million scratch off lottery is sold out in Punxstawney

A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Punxsutawney recently sold a winning scratch-off ticket worth $3 million.
Uni-Mart, located at 512 E. Mahoning St., will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The person who won was not identified in the press release.
The Hunt for $3,000,000 is a $30 game that offers top prizes of $3 million.
Scratch-offs are distributed at random, meaning the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold.
The Lottery learns where winning tickets are sold only after a prize has been claimed. The Pennsylvania Lottery remains the only state lottery to direct all proceeds to programs that benefit older residents.
Since ticket sales began in 1972, it has contributed more than $36.2 billion to fund property tax and rent rebates, transportation, care services, prescription assistance and local services including senior centers and meals.
