A scratch off lottery player from Wilmington scoops a big jackpot recently

A Wilmington store sold a scratch-off ticket worth $20,000, according to Mass Lottery.

The ticket was sold Wednesday at Richdale Convenience Store. The winner was in the Lifetime Millions game, a $50 scratch-off ticket.

The top prize in the game is $1 million or $50,000 annually for 20 years. There are 11 remaining top prizes in the Lifetime Millions game, according to Mass Lottery.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.

They also said that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money.

The winner told the lottery officials that he will be going to pay all his due bills after claiming the winning prize money.
