A West Mifflin man wins $1 million recently in a lottery game
A very lucky lottery winner is holding onto a $1 million scratch-off ticket. Pennsylvania Lottery officials said a winning ticket in the "$1 Million?
Seriously" game was sold at Shop 'n Save on Buttermilk Hollow Road in West Mifflin.
The game costs $20 to play and offers top prizes of $1 million. The store receives a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
In the announcement of the winning ticket, the lottery said, "Scratch-Offs are distributed at random, meaning the Pennsylvania Lottery and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold.
The Lottery learns where winning tickets are sold only after a prize has been claimed."
Lottery officials encourage the winner to come forward, validate their ticket, and begin the process of claiming their substantial prize.
