A Virginia lottery player won $1 million in lottery win, she has never ever thought of becoming a millionaire just by buying a lottery ticket.
Vanessa Hernandez Lopez didn't knew that she has become a millionaire when she went to bed following the Mega Millions drawing earlier this month.
Her boyfriend bought the ticket at a Timberville 7-Eleven and gave it to her just before the May 10 drawing. They saw the results but didn't realize what they had, they thought they must have won some thousand dollars but it turned out to be a million dollar ticket.
Hernandez Lopez, who lives in Broadway, matched the first five numbers in the drawing —15-19-20-61-70 — but didn't get the Mega Ball number. If she would have also matched the mega ball number then she must have won a lottery of 80 million dollars.
