An Ohio Lottery player is now a millionaire after purchasing a winning ticket at Marathon, 1003 Defiance St., Wapakoneta, according to a press release from the Ohio Lottery on Dec. 2.

He won the annuity prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. He chose to take the $500,000 cash option, and after mandatory state and federal tax totaling 28 percent, he will receive an estimated $360,000.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
