A Grand Prairie resident won a $2 million prize in a recent Mega Millions drawing. The winning ticket was from the Jan. 24 drawing.
The white balls were 8, 12, 43, 52 and 62 with a Mega Ball of 18. The winner matched all five of the white ball numbers, but not the Mega Ball number.
The Texas Lottery says that the ticket was purchased at Ballpark Beverage on Lamar Boulevard in Arlington. The Grand Prairie resident chose to remain anonymous.
The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
They also announced that the winner has only half an year to claim the winning jackpot from the day of the lottery draw.
