A lucky Ipswich father is the new multi-millionaire this weekend after last night's Powerball lottery draw.

The Queensland resident is the only Division one winning entry in Powerball draw 1322, drawn on September 16, Thursday, 2021 and walks away with the entire jackpot prize.

The winner couldn't believe on his luck that after all these years he had finally won such a massive prize that will change their life in a vivid way.

"We have gone from being real battlers to have money. I can't wrap my head around." He said to the Lott.

"We never expected to win this much. It will change our lives in such a massive way.

"I'm honestly really lost for words. I can hardly string a sentence together! "

When asked about, the man didn't hesitate to reveal his plans. He says he will begin with the mortgages and be debt-free. "I've always wanted to make some smart investments and of course help our children." He said in excitement.

The dream come true Quick pick prize ticket was purchased at Foote's Pharmacy Leichhardt, shop 4-5, 9, old Toowoomba Road Leichhardt.
