A fortunate Massachusetts state lottery player scoops $1 million recently in Cape Cod

A Massachusetts State Lottery player purchased a winning $1 million scratch ticket and claimed their prize on Monday, from a convenience store in the Bay State on Cape Cod.

The winning $1 million ticket was from the “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” scratch ticket game. The ticket was sold from an Express Mart in Buzzards Bay, and was one of 35 total tickets worth $600 or more claimed from the game on Monday.

There was also a winning $100,000 scratch ticket claimed on Monday in Massachusetts. The winning ticket was from the “Millions” scratch ticket game, and was purchased in Saugus from Marina’s Mart.

It was one of 19 winning tickets worth $600 or more claimed from the game on Monday.

Overall, there were 1,006 lottery tickets worth at least $600 won or claimed in Massachusetts on Monday, including 33 in Springfield and 35 in Worcester.
