Someone claimed a $500,000 lottery prize on Tuesday from a crossword ticket they bought at a shop in Western Massachusetts.

The winning ticket was from the game “$500,000 Cashword Corners 2023.” The $5 game was released on Jan. 30, 2023, and has just one $500,000 grand prize remaining to be claimed as of Dec. 11.

The $500,000 prize claimed Tuesday was from a ticket sold at the J&M Pipe & Tobacco shop in Pittsfield. Additionally, two $100,000 prizes were claimed on Tuesday.

One was from the “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket game and was sold at the Dev Convenience Store in Peabody, and the other was from a “Millions” ticket sold at Yankee Gas & Market in Worcester.

Overall, at least 512 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Tuesday, including 12 in Springfield, 21 in Worcester and 48 in Boston.
