A Martinsville guy wins $50,000 recently in powerball lottery
A winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a gas station in Martinsville ahead of Saturday night’s drawing.
According to a Hoosier Lottery press release, the ticket was purchased at the Murphy USA located at 298 Grand Valley Road.
The ticket match four out of five numbers and the Powerball from Saturday night’s drawing. Saturday’s winning Powerball numbers are 16-22-44-45-53 with a Powerball of 19.
Officials encourage all Powerball winners to ensure their tickets are in safe places, consider setting up meetings with financial advisors and call Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific claim instructions.
Murphy USA gas stations have proven to be lucky places for lottery players in Indiana to purchase tickets lately. In March, a Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was bought at a Murphy USA gas station located in Avon.
