For one Sarasota County woman, a $5 scratch-off ticket really paid off. The Florida Lottery announced Nevine Ewadalla, 52, of Sarasota claimed $1 million from the $5 "Monopoly Doubler" scratch-off game.

Ewadalla chose to receive her winnings as a lump-sum payment of $798,985, the site states, adding she bought the scratch-off from Cattleridge BP, 5991 Cattleridge Blvd., Sarasota.

The store gets something, too: It will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket, the Florida Lottery said.

It costs $5 to play the scratch-off game Monopoly Doubler. Monopoly fans will be pleased to see correlations between the beloved board game and the lottery scratcher.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
