A lucky Rochester Wegmans scoops $50,000 recently in a lottery

The New York Lottery announced one third-prize-winning ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Rochester at the Wegmans on Mt. Read Boulevard.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of 1 to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.
The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
The New York Lottery is North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.8 billion in fiscal year 2023-2024 to benefit public schools in New York State.
The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money, lottery officials said.
