A Kettering guy scoops a big jackpot recently in a lottery game

A convenience store in Kettering sold a winning Ohio Lottery ticket on Thursday.

According to Ohio Lottery, someone purchased a $2 Lucky for Life ticket from the Speedway location on Shroyer Road.

The player used auto-pick to choose the numbers of 7, 14, 25, 35, and 40.

Ohio Lottery reported the player matched all five white ball numbers to win $25,000 a year for life, the game’s second-tier prize.

Although the winning Lucky Ball number was 14, the player reportedly did not have that number.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.
