A lucky North Carolina man wins $100,000 in scratch off lottery game
Il Soon Park, of Wake Forest, bought a $30 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize, according to an NC Education Lottery news release.
Park bought his winning 200X The Cash ticket from the Sheetz on South Franklin Street in Wake Forest. He claimed his prize at lottery headquarters Monday.
After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $71,259. Watch lottery drawings on FOX8! Mega Millions airs at 11 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday. Powerball airs at 10:59 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
